BMT (Base Mounted Turret) ist ein weit verbreiteter Industriestandard de facto, jedoch keine von ISO oder DIN herausgegebene Norm. Dieselbe Bezeichnung „BMT55“ kann bei verschiedenen Maschinenherstellern abweichende Detailmaße bedeuten. Mongtec bestätigt die Passung deshalb anhand der tatsächlichen Revolverzeichnung. VDI ist als DIN 69880 genormt.
