An Australian customer running DN Solutions (Doosan) Puma 2100M and Puma 2600YB lathes ordered Mongtec BMT55 axial and radial driven tool holders — ER25, 6,000 rpm, external coolant, centre height H70. The order was confirmed with a deposit for delivery in January 2026.
A BMT65 ER32 holder rated to 10,000 rpm is planned as the next stage.
The customer asked that the 90° output be oriented the same way as the other-brand holders already in the turret, so that existing programs and tool-setting routines would not have to change. Mongtec agreed to build the following batch to that orientation.
This is the kind of detail that decides whether a second source is actually usable. A holder that performs identically but indexes differently still costs the shop a programming session on every part it touches.
