A quick-change clamping fixture earns its price in changeover time, not in the purchase order. Mongtec builds rubber-vulcanised SK clamping fixtures, internal expansion fixtures, hydraulic fixtures for machining centres, and the collets and expansion sleeves that go in them. Collets change in about 10 seconds, expansion sleeves in about 30. Mongtec Precision is a Taiwanese brand, designed and engineered in Taichung, Taiwan.

Mongtec SK clamping heads mount in a Hainbuch-compatible chuck, and a Hainbuch-type SK head mounts in a Mongtec chuck. The SK clamping-head geometry is an open size standard. You do not have to replace the chuck to try Mongtec heads, and you do not have to discard the heads you own to move to a Mongtec chuck.
