New: BMT bolt patterns by machine builder — a reference table of 38 turret bolt patterns and the machines that use them.
Mongtec builds this family to order as well as to catalogue. Special angles, extended reach, high-pressure internal coolant, non-standard collet or arbor mountings and machine-specific bolt patterns are all within scope. If what you need is not a catalogue item, describe the operation and the machine — that is usually enough for engineering to say whether it can be built and roughly what it involves.
No. TA60 is a Takisawa-specific turret mounting. A standard BMT holder of any size will not bolt to it, which is why it needs a dedicated holder family. This is also why Mongtec verifies the turret drawing before quoting rather than selling against a nominal size.
It varies by machine model and, on some builders, by turret version within the same model. Send the machine model and a photograph of the turret face and Mongtec engineering confirms it against the actual drawing. That check is free.
Yes. Special angles, extended reach, high-pressure internal coolant and non-standard mountings are all built to order. Describe the operation and the machine.
The full dimensioned drawing is supplied by email once an enquiry is open, so it matches your actual machine and turret configuration.
