What M0326 does on the machine

The driven spindle points at 90° to the lathe spindle, along the X axis. This is the configuration for cross drilling, cross tapping and slotting on the outside diameter.

Radial-disc mounting — mounts to the turret's radial disc rather than a standard station.

Gear ratio 1:1 — tool spindle speed equals turret drive speed. The direct relationship makes speeds and feeds straightforward to calculate from the machine's live-tool rating.
