Mongtec stainless tubes are modular ball-joint lines that carry coolant or compressed air from a port on the machine to a nozzle next to the tool. Elements are joined at ball joints and threaded connectors, so the line is built to the length and angle the job needs and aimed by hand. Two bore sizes are offered, 5.8 mm (M14 × P1.0 threads) and 11 mm (M24 × P1.25 threads), with round, wide-angle, multi-hole, flat and silencing nozzles. Mongtec is a Taiwan brand headquartered in Taichung.
5.8 mm series (M14 × P1.0) and 11 mm series (M24 × P1.25).
Nozzles
Round ø1.5 / ø3.0 / ø4.0 (5.8 mm series) and ø6.5 (11 mm series), wide-angle, multi-hole, flat and fan-shaped, and a silencing nozzle for compressed air.
Elements
Basic and extension elements, 90° basic elements, double-ball and PT adapter elements.
Adapters
45° and 90° L-type adapters, standard base adapters from PT 1/8" to PT 1/2", ball base adapters ø12–ø16 and a cylindrical base adapter ø16.
Material
Stainless steel. Ask for the material grade when you request a quotation.
Used for
Coolant or air nozzle lines on CNC machines: milling, turning, grinding and chip clearing.
5.8 mm or 11 mm: which series
The two series use different threads, so elements are combined within one series. The 5.8 mm series is the compact line for tight spaces and moderate flow; the 11 mm series carries more flow and has a larger nozzle (ø6.5) and larger flat nozzles. Pick the series from the flow you need, the port on the machine and the space around the tool.
All models from the Mongtec Stainless Tubes catalogue (Ver. 2026.10), dimensions in mm. Legend: D orifice or jet width, B ball or bore dimension, L length, A spray angle, H hexagon width, Q square width, R base diameter. Dimensions are as printed in the catalogue; confirm them against your drawing before ordering.

How to build a line
Start at the machine: choose a base adapter that matches the thread of the coolant or air port (PT 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" standard base, or a ball or cylindrical base).
Add basic or extension elements to reach the work area, and 45° or 90° elements where the line has to turn.
Finish with the nozzle that fits the job: round for a directed jet, wide-angle or multi-hole for coverage, flat for a sweeping band, silencing for compressed air.
Aim the jet at the cutting zone or at the chips, and check that it stays clear of the tool, the workpiece and the clamping during a tool change.
Two: a 5.8 mm series that uses M14 × P1.0 threads and an 11 mm series that uses M24 × P1.25 threads. Elements are combined within one series.
How do I connect the tube to my machine?
Use a base adapter that matches the thread of the coolant or air port. Standard base adapters are PT 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" in the 5.8 mm series and PT 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" in the 11 mm series; ball base adapters (ø12, ø14, ø16) and a cylindrical base adapter (ø16) are also listed. Check the thread on your machine before ordering.
Which nozzle should I choose?
A round nozzle gives a directed jet; the wide-angle and 3-hole nozzles cover a wider area; the flat and fan-shaped nozzles spread the jet into a band, which suits grinding and washing a surface; the silencing nozzle is for compressed air. The guide explains how to choose.
What do the silencing nozzle figures mean?
For the 1-DG-AIR silencing nozzle the catalogue lists a sound level of 79 dB, a noise reduction of 67% and an energy saving of 37%. These are catalogue figures; the test conditions are not given in the catalogue, so ask Mongtec for the conditions that apply to your air supply.
What material are the tubes made of?
Stainless steel. The grade is not printed in the catalogue; ask for it when you request a quotation.
Can I replace a plastic hose with these tubes?
Often yes. Send a photo of the current line, the thread of the port and where the jet has to reach, and Mongtec will propose the elements. The guide lists what to check before replacing a hose.
Do you supply customers outside Taiwan?
Yes. Mongtec quotes and ships worldwide; shipping terms and payment are on the how-to-buy page. Delivery time is confirmed per quotation.
What to send for a quote
Mongtec proposes the line from four details. Email them to info@mongtec.com or use the quote form — we reply within one working day.
The machine and the port — model, and the thread and position of the coolant or air outlet.
Where the jet must reach — the tool, the workpiece or the chip area; a photo helps.
Coolant or compressed air, and the supply pressure if you know it.
Quantity, and the model numbers from the tables if you already know them.
