across polygon sizes 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100 — the coupling sizes defined in ISO 26623
(polygon taper interface with flange contact surface). Because the polygon coupling is an open ISO standard rather than a
proprietary interface, PSC sizes correspond directly to the Coromant Capto® size designations
(C3–C10) and to the German PSK designations used across European catalogues.

What is covered in the Mongtec PSC range
The Mongtec PSC Product Catalog Ver 2026.07 is organised into six groups:
PSC clamping units — PSC blanks (BLPSC), CUSA general-purpose receivers, CVDI VDI receivers, CSQUA horizontal lathe receivers, CSQIR square shank internal receivers and CHYD hydraulic actuated receivers with high-pressure cooling.
Adaptors — PSC extension and reduction adaptors, side-lock end mill holders (incl. axial), PSC–ER, PSC–arbor, and SK / HSK / BT to PSC adaptors.

Mongtec PSC turning tool bodies follow the pattern PSC[size]-[shape][Kr][clamping][hand]-[dimensions]-[insert size],
for example PSC63-DCLNR-45065-12 = polygon size 63, D-clamping (platen), C-shape insert, L geometry, right hand,
body dimensions 45/065, insert size 12. Clamping types are D (platen), P (hook) and S (screw); hand is R (right), L (left) or N (null).
Suffix HP denotes high-pressure coolant and C denotes top-and-bottom cooling.
Frequently asked questions
Is PSC the same as Coromant Capto®?
PSC (polygon shank coupling) is the interface standardised as ISO 26623. Coromant Capto® is Sandvik Coromant's
implementation of that polygon coupling and is the origin of the geometry. Because the coupling is an open ISO standard, the sizes
correspond: PSC32 = C3, PSC40 = C4, PSC50 = C5, PSC63 = C6, PSC80 = C8, PSC100 = C10.
Mongtec is an independent tooling brand and is not affiliated with Sandvik Coromant.
PSK (Polygon-Schaft-Kegel) is the German designation for the same ISO 26623 coupling, commonly written PSK C4, PSK C6 and so on
in European catalogues. PSK C6, PSC63 and Capto® C6 all refer to polygon size 63.
