Mongtec tooling in service — photographs from machine shops and shipments
These are Mongtec's own photographs of its own tooling, not renderings and not catalogue artwork. Buyers who have not bought from a Taiwanese brand before reasonably ask what the hardware actually looks like, how it is marked, and whether it is checked before it cuts. This page answers that with pictures. Mongtec Precision is a Taiwanese brand, designed and engineered in Taichung, Taiwan.
An angle head is the cheapest way to reach a fourth face on a three-axis machine. What decides whether one works is not the head on its own: it is whether the machine has somewhere to take the anti-rotation stop, whether the runout is acceptable at the output spindle, and whether the coolant path matches the body. The pictures below show a head being set and checked on a customer machine before the first cut.

The head in these photographs carries the Mongtec nameplate MQBT50QFMB27Q2X, serial No.2025052901, rated 2,500 rpm at a 1:1 ratio and 150 N·m maximum torque, on a BT50 shank. It was fitted into a vertical machining centre, seated against the machine's anti-rotation stop, and indicated at the output spindle before the machine cut anything. The customer is not named here at their preference; the tooling data above is read directly off the unit in the photographs.

Broaching units on lathe turrets
A broaching unit turns turret rotation into a reciprocating slide stroke, so an internal keyway, square, hexagon or spline is cut on the machine that already holds the part. These photographs show a unit mounted on a lathe turret, indicated in position, and the internal form it produced.

Driven and static turret tooling
Every unit is laser-marked with its article number and, where the unit is driven, its maximum speed and torque. That marking is what a maintenance engineer reads two years later when a spare is needed, so it is worth photographing a nameplate rather than a catalogue page.

Face drivers and live centres
Face drivers let a shaft be turned over its whole length in one setup by driving on the end face instead of clamping the diameter. The last two pictures show a driver actually holding work.

What these photographs are, and what they are not
They are Mongtec's own units, photographed by Mongtec, in the condition they were supplied or installed. Article numbers and rating data quoted on this page are read off the units themselves.
They are not a specification. A photograph does not tell you whether a unit fits your machine. Interface dimensions, pull stud, anti-rotation form and coolant arrangement are matched to the specific machine before Mongtec quotes, and that confirmation is free. Nor are these photographs a performance claim: no cutting data, tool life or accuracy figure on this page has been measured under a published test method, and none is stated as if it had.
What to send Mongtec so the answer is not a guess. To answer a compatibility or cross-reference question properly Mongtec needs four things: the machine make and model, the turret or spindle interface, the article number of the unit you are replacing (a photo of the nameplate is enough), and the quantity. With those four Mongtec confirms the fit and quotes. Without them any answer is a guess, and in tooling a guess is expensive.
