BT50 angle heads carry the heaviest published torque figures in the range, up to 200 Nm on the four-output head. The BT50 range also includes heads with a BT40 tool-holder output, so one head covers every BT40 tool you already own.

The taper alone does not decide fit. The pull stud thread has to match the machine, the head has to be held against spindle torque by the machine's stop block or stop pin, and the head body has to clear the part and the fixture at the cutting position. Mongtec confirms all three against your machine before quoting.
Every model in this catalogue is also available as a custom build. Reach, nose profile, output interface, angle, coolant routing and the stop arrangement can all be changed to suit the operation and the machine.
Already using another brand? Send us the drawing or the article number of the head you run today and Mongtec will convert it to an equivalent Mongtec head — same mounting, same reach, same output. You do not need to re-work the fixture or the programme.
Every BT40 and BT50 model above can be supplied on a CAT40 or CAT50 V-flange shank. The taper is the same; the pull stud (retention knob) thread is what changes.
The same heads are supplied to order on a PSC polygon shank (ISO 26623) in C4, C5, C6 and C8.
