On turret standards: VDI is codified in DIN 69880 and the PSC polygon shank coupling in ISO 26623. BMT (Base Mounted Turret) is a widely adopted de facto industry interface but is not published by ISO or DIN — two turrets both labelled “BMT65” can differ in detail between machine builders. Mongtec therefore verifies the actual turret dimensions of the stated machine before confirming fitment.

Which turret interface does my Benzinger lathe use?

Mongtec has not published a per-model turret designation for this range yet. Send the machine model and a photograph of the turret face and Mongtec engineering identifies the interface against the actual turret drawing before quoting. VDI holders drop into a round bore with a side clamping screw; BMT holders sit flat against the turret face on four bolts around a locating key.

Can Mongtec supply driven tool holders for Benzinger?
