Axial (0°) driven tool holders drive the cutter parallel to the spindle axis, for face drilling, face milling and tapping into the end of the part while it is still in the chuck. Mongtec Precision, a Taiwanese tooling brand headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan, builds them to mount on Colchester turrets.
Specially engineered and precision-matched for Colchester multitasking turning-milling centers, our 0° driven tools maximize machine performance to provide stable, high-efficiency, and high-precision machining support. From structural design to the transmission system, every critical detail is crafted with top-tier manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent output and machining quality even under prolonged operation.
Build features
Extreme Runout Accuracy ≤ 0.003mm — Ensures high dimensional consistency of the workpiece, effectively reducing runout errors and vibration impacts. This enhances surface roughness performance and ensures stability during precision milling operations.
Imported P4 / P5 Precision Bearings — The entire series is equipped with high-grade imported precision bearings, offering exceptional high-speed rotational stability and low temperature-rise characteristics. This maintains low vibration and steady output even in continuous, long-term machining environments.
Precision Ground Spiral Bevel Gear Pairs — Utilizing precision-ground paired gear sets to ensure smooth transmission, low noise, and high-efficiency power delivery. This not only enhances torque output stability but also significantly extends the service life of the toolholder.
High-Rigidity Structure & Powerful Power Transmission — Optimized body structure design increases overall rigidity and resistance to deformation, maintaining stable machining performance even under high-load or heavy-duty cutting conditions.
Comprehensive After-Sales Technical Support — Beyond high-quality products, we provide professional repair and technical support services to help customers minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Colchester machines this holder is built for
2 Colchester models. Where the turret interface is published it is shown; where it is blank the interface depends on the turret actually fitted and is confirmed at enquiry.
The machine model alone does not decide the holder. The same model can leave the factory with
different turrets — station count, model suffix and key arrangement all change the mounting. Tell us the
machine, the turret and the operation and we confirm the mounting before quoting.
