Swiss-type (sliding headstock) lathes hold their tooling in fixed positions on a gang or comb layout rather than in a rotating turret. Each position is machine-specific: the holder body, the mounting face and the drive coupling are defined by the machine builder, which is why a Swiss-type holder is identified by the builder's own reference code rather than by a BMT or VDI size.
0R123 is a static position — the tool does not rotate. It holds the cutting tool rigidly for turning, drilling or boring while the workpiece turns.
Mongtec builds 0R123 to the Star reference 0R123, so it occupies the same holder position on the machine. That reference is the fastest way to specify what you need: quote the code from your machine's tooling list and Mongtec engineering matches it, then confirms the fit against your actual machine and station before quoting.

0R123 takes tools up to 10.0 mm using ER16 collets, on a 22 mm holder shank. Collets are supplied separately — tell Mongtec the shank diameters you intend to run and they are quoted with the holder.
