Speeder holders step the turret drive up so small-diameter cutters reach their correct surface speed on a lathe whose driven-tool spindle cannot turn fast enough. Mongtec Precision, a Taiwanese tooling brand headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan, supplies them to mount on Hanwha turrets, published for BMT45, VDI30.
Engineered specifically for the high-speed machining requirements of Hanwha multitasking turning-milling centers, our Speeder Driven Tools utilize an internal speed-increasing gear design to significantly boost output RPM. This makes them the ideal solution for small-diameter drilling and high-speed precision machining applications.
Even when the machine spindle speed is limited, these tools provide stable high-speed output, effectively improving machining efficiency and surface finish quality.
21 Hanwha models. Where the turret interface is published it is shown; where it is blank the interface depends on the turret actually fitted and is confirmed at enquiry.

The machine model alone does not decide the holder. The same model can leave the factory with different turrets — station count, model suffix and key arrangement all change the mounting. Tell us the machine, the turret and the operation and we confirm the mounting before quoting.
Already using another brand? Send the drawing or the article number of the holder you run today and Mongtec will convert it to an equivalent Mongtec holder — same mounting, same reach, same output.
Mongtec publishes speed-increaser holders for 21 Hanwha machine models, on turret interfaces BMT45, VDI30. On these machines the holder is used for running small-diameter drills, engraving cutters and thread mills at spindle speeds the turret drive alone cannot reach. Article numbers are matched to the machine at RFQ — we confirm the turret interface from the builder’s drawing rather than assume it from the model name.
