Speeder holders step the turret drive up so small-diameter cutters reach their correct surface speed on a lathe whose driven-tool spindle cannot turn fast enough. Mongtec Precision, a Taiwanese tooling brand headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan, builds them to mount on SMEC turrets.
Developed specifically for the high-speed machining requirements of SMEC (Samsung Machine Tools) multitasking centers. Designed to break through the RPM limits of traditional turrets, these toolholders significantly boost output RPM via an internal high-precision speed-increasing mechanism.
